Community Guidelines

Last updated: 2026-09-30 — Version 2.6

PixoRush has no chat. There are no messages, comments, voice, emoji or photo sharing. The only thing other players see from you is your username. That is why these rules are short.

Not allowed

  1. 1. Profane usernames — slurs, insults, sexual expressions.
  2. 2. Hate speech — degrading anyone on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality; hate symbols.
  3. 3. Threats and violence — stating or implying harm to others.
  4. 4. Sexual content — obscene expressions.
  5. 5. Personal information — phone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses or social media handles. This rule protects you too: nobody can message you privately in the app, but whatever you put in your username is public.
  6. 6. Impersonation — posing as another player, a real person, a brand or PixoRush staff.
  7. 7. Advertising or spam — links, product promotion, repetitive nonsense.
  8. 8. Leaderboard cheating — automation, client modification, multiple accounts.

Room matches

Room matches played with an invite code also show nothing but usernames. Whoever you share a room code with will see your username, so bear that in mind before sharing one with a stranger.

Reporting and hiding

You can report a username from the player row on the leaderboard, and you can hide any player, in which case their username is not shown to you.

Hiding does not change the ranking maths: the player stays in the standings and only their name is hidden from you. The ranking therefore stays identical for everyone.

Enforcement

Reported usernames are reviewed. Outcomes range from no action, a username reset, a warning, a temporary restriction, to permanent closure of the account.

There is no tolerance for objectionable usernames or for users who abuse other players. PixoRush is a one-person project; reports are reviewed by the developer within 24 hours. A username found to break these rules is removed and, where needed, the account is closed.
